🏳️‍🌈 Everyone is welcome here! Discovery K'gari Adventures proudly supports the LGBTQIA+ community and uses inclusive language across all our tours.

Vision & Hearing

Unfortunately, we do not currently offer support for guests with vision or hearing impairments. For safety reasons, we recommend traveling with a companion to assist you during the tour.

Mobility & Access

Discovery K'gari Adventures operates on a remote island and involves activities that require a basic level of mobility and fitness.

 

Key Notes:

  • Our tours suit all fitness levels.

  • The rainforest walk includes an optional self-guided section:

    • Approximately 200 bush steps.

    • Roughly 2 kilometres in length.

  • For those with limited mobility, there’s a wheelchair-accessible walk option at Central Station instead.

 

Bus Access:

  • Getting in and out of the bus may be challenging for some guests due to the high first step, which varies depending on sand levels in car parks.

  • Our team is happy to assist if needed.

Discount Ticketing

We offer discounted tickets for children and family groups.


Recommended Age Suitability

🚸 For safety reasons, children under the age of 8 years cannot join our tours due to child vehicle restraint laws and limited anchor points for booster seats.

For children over 8 years:

  • Parents should consider whether the tour is suitable, factoring in:

    • The length of the day.

    • Extended time spent on the bus.

    • Limited amenities for young children.

Pregnancy

🤰 Can I join the tour if I’m pregnant?

Every pregnancy is unique, and we want you to feel safe and comfortable. While we generally do not recommend tours past 28 weeks, the decision is ultimately up to you and your doctor.

We suggest consulting with your doctor to assess whether the tour is suitable for your situation.
